The basic services that the Student's Union provide are:

• A TV lounge.
• The SU Shop.
• A Sports Hall.
• A Multi-gym (recently refurbished).
• Two Squash courts.
• A New all-weather astro-turf.
• Five sports pitches.
• Cricket pitch.
• 2 Tennis courts.
• Heated outdoor swimming pool (summer term).
• The cafetaria; providing a range of hot meals, 7 days a week to cater for on and off campus students.

A launderette is also availible near the SU building, and there is a non-resident facility near the main building complex containing showers.

What Else is there on Campus?

Essential chocolate & drink vending machines can be found at ground level in the Foulkes-Crowther building, the Student Union building and by the rear entrance to B Block, as well as in the QMH Canteen.

The Kaldi is a small, but very well used, cafe, found in the Bamford Library. Serving coffees, teas, cold drinks and bites to eat; it's a nice place to chill whilst you have some much needed time out from your work!

Public telephones can be found in the SU building, on Flatt Road, behind the Main building and outside the Foulkes Crowther building. There's also a classy red one beside the QMH.

A bit more about Harper...

Harper Adams is set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, 15 minutes from Telford, and just 3 minutes from the town of Newport.

Not far from the M54, the University has fantastic links with surrounding towns and although it lies in the countryside, student nightlife is never more than a short distance away if you want to get off campus.

Newport has a great nightlife, with (very) well frequented pubs and clubs and the Harper Campus has its very own recently refurbished Lounge Bar alongside the Main Bar for our fantastic club nights.

With an estate of over 210 hectares, Harper Adams combines its stunning rural setting with excellent modern facilities and a fantastic Student Union!
With 1,850 students, the Student Union keeps the students entertained and posted on all thats happening on and around campus.
